Dr. Christopher Carraway decided at an early age to make chiropractic his career. He received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life Chiropractic College in 1985, and set up practice in his hometown of New Bern in 1986. In 1999, Dr. Carraway received his Diplomate in Chiropractic Neurology after completing the required coursework from New York Chiropractic College. He has received advanced training in the Activator Method Chiropractic Technique and has been Advanced Proficiency Rated in the technique since 1989. In 2011, he successfully completed the coursework and examination to become a Certified Laser Specialist. Dr. Carraway is an independent reviewer for insurance companies that seek opinions on the clinical status of very specific cases.

Dr. Carraway is a member of the North Carolina Chiropractic Association, the American Chiropractic Association, the International Academy of Chiropractic Neurology, and serves on the medical advisory board of MultiRadiance Medical.
