A landmark
Duke University Evidence Report was recently released, funded in part by NCMIC Insurance...the largest chiropractic malpractice insurer in the nation.Researchers evaluated the safety and effectiveness of various treatments for cervicogenic (neck based) and tension-type headaches. You wont believe what they said.
This ground-breaking report, released by the prestigious
Duke University Evidence-Based Practice Center (EPC), concluded that chiropractic is both safe and effective in the treatment of two common types of headaches: cervicogenic (neck based) and tension-type headaches. The new findings come as no surprise to doctors of chiropractic and tens of millions of patients who now are headache-free. Science and medicine are now saying what chiropractors have known for over a century. So what makes the
Duke University review significant? Its the quality of the data and the nature of the research center itself. The center is one of only 12 Evidence-Based Practice Centers (EPC) given the EPC trademark by the U.S. Department of Health Care Research and Quality. The 18-member interdisciplinary panel included: Ph.D. researchers, epidemiologists, government-appointed physicians and doctors of chiropractic. The extensive review was subject to rigorous scientific standards. The center proved the advantages of chiropractic over many other medical, complementary, behavioral and physical therapies often used for headache relief.Summary of
Duke University NCMIC Insurance research findings:Now theres no reason to delay getting the help you need.
